Evolvence India
Evolvence India is a platform promoted by Evolvence Capital, a Dubai based firm focused on alternative investments. Like its parent, Evolvence India targets high growth niche areas in the Indian alternative investment space and creates investment products for global investors.
In June 2005 Evolvence India launched the Evolvence India Fund (EIF), a Fund of Funds focused on Private Equity, Real Estate Development and Infrastructure in India. EIF is registered as an offshore fund domiciled in Mauritius.
Tapping India
The Fund believes the “sweet spot” for the Indian Private Equity space over the next couple of years lies with Fund Managers who target the mid-market transactions, i.e. transactions in the range of US$ 10 to 30 million.
To take advantage of the opportunities in a diversified manner, EIF has selected few Fund Managers with solid track record in that market segment and aligned with them. In addition, a well-qualified research team provides preliminary market, investment and economic analysis on focus sectors for the Fund.
